I’ve been working on a website and logo for my good friend James Archibald who likes to take photographs. I’ve come to realise that you need decent images for any design to work. I’ve espically noticed this at work when designing magazines. Even if you have the nicest type and layout it doesn’t really do much with an awful image. Basically, you can’t polish a turd. But I don’t have to worry about that with James’s photos because they are lovely. I’m looking forward to geting it up online, here’s the holding page for the mean time that I just put up, I’m still working on the repeat of the image for all you lucky people with nice big screens.
